What type of mental health challenges do your services address?

When it comes to our mental health consulting and training, we focus on many areas of mental health concerns that we address in our counselling services.

However, instead of addressing these challenges in a one-on-one setting, we implement training materials to suit your group’s unique needs as well as provide valuable resources.

Here are some of the mental health challenges Monarch Psychological specializes in:

  • Eating Disorders and Body Image: Eating disorders involve relationships with food that negatively impact a person’s life and can include struggles such as fears related to food, rigid eating patterns, chronic dieting, and compulsive exercise.
  • Trauma and PTSD: Trauma and PTSD are the mind and body’s way of responding to a terrible event or experiences that can be addressed by helping individuals resolve unpleasant memories and learn how to regulate strong emotions.
  • Perinatal Mental Health: The journey to parenthood is one of the most powerful and gratifying experiences we can have, but it can also be incredibly overwhelming, depleting, and potentially traumatic.
  • Stress, Burnout, and Compassion Fatigue: Burnout and compassion fatigue are states of complete exhaustion that are caused by excessive and prolonged stress over time. Helpers, especially healthcare workers, are most vulnerable to burnout due to their tremendous care and empathy.
  • Anxiety and Depression. The most common mental health conditions, anxiety and/or depression can occur alone or alongside other mental illnesses. They also often occur together.

Do you offer mental health consulting and training on a recurring basis?

Generally, our training and consultation sessions are done one time or over a short period of time, such as 2-3 meetings.

However, the number of sessions depends entirely on your unique needs and we understand that some projects may require more time.

Are your training and mental health consulting sessions customized to my organization’s needs?

Yes, our services are tailored to your needs, whether it’s a training workshop for a school or providing recommendations on an identified challenge within an organization.

For example, Monarch Psychology has addressed behavioral issues in sports and recreation programs, worked with teachers to build skills to address student anxiety, supported a school to meet the needs of their students following a major loss, and consulted with nurses who work in palliative care.

How much do your mental health consulting and training services cost?

Investing in the well-being of your team, organization, or employees starts at $250/hour and is determined by your unique needs.

Feel free to contact us to discuss the type of training and consulting you are looking for and we can provide you with an investment quote.
